On the walls of the heritage listed ‘Hall of Memory’ are large framed photos and plaques honouring 21 service personnel from the Goomeri district who lost their lives during conflicts of war. The 12 from World War II were unveiled by Cliff Norris, then President of the Returned Sailor’s, Soldier’s and Airmen’s Imperial League of Australia (RSSAILA) on Anzac Day in 1951.

Located on the Wide Bay Highway as you enter Goomeri from the east and 200 metres east of the Burnett Highway junction, on the corner of McGregor Street.
