We spent two nights in ‘The Cottage’ at Hillview Cottages. The cottage was charming, cosy and had fabulous views. There was nothing lacking with the facilities and the bed was very comfortable. The big skies, clean air and peace and quiet were even better than we hoped for. The double spa bath in the bay window has the same sweeping views as the large deck, perfect for indulging in a long hot soak and a good book on a cool afternoon. We were supplied breakfast, with eggs from the fat and happy farm chooks. Two nights is barely enough – if you need to recharge from city life, stay a week and explore the area. It’s a wine and foodie paradise!
