On Saturday, 11th July 2026, we invite you to enjoy an unforgettable Aussie Camp Oven Dinner Under the Stars — a special evening featuring a three-course camp oven dinner, live local entertainment, a licensed bar, and a guided astronomy experience through large telescopes.
Set beneath the wide-open Kingaroy sky, this will be a relaxed country evening filled with good food, music, stories, stars and great company.

A three-course Aussie camp oven dinner, prepared by award-winning camp oven cooks The Bait Layers.
A special live music performance from Paul Ricketts, a local singer-songwriter and balladeer, who will provide entertainment through verse and song.
A guided night-sky experience with an entertaining professional astronomer, including a laser-guided tour of the galaxy and close-up views through large telescopes.
A licensed bar will also be available on the night, providing wine and selected beers.
An Evening Under the Kingaroy Stars
Hillview Cottages is uniquely located high on the Booie Range, making it a beautiful setting for an evening under the stars.
As the sun sets and the sky darkens, guests will have the opportunity to experience a guided astronomy presentation, including a tour of the night sky and telescope viewing. The evening will offer a chance to see the cosmos up close and learn more about the stars, planets and galaxies above us.
